Tulsa, Okla. – Diana Wall, a 20-year veteran in the human resources industry, was named the state’s 2018 volunteer of the year by the Oklahoma Human Resources State Council. The award was presented among a crowd of 700 HR professionals, at the OKHR annual state conference, held Wednesday, April 25, in Tulsa.

Wall, director of business development for Accel Financial Staffing in Oklahoma City, is currently OKHR’s district director and she has been an active board member of Sooner HR Society (SHRS), Norman chapter since it was chartered in 2003. She has served on the Sooner HR board in many capacities ranging from president to her current role as human resources certification chair.

Asked what keeps her volunteering for OKHR and SHRS, Wall responded, “because I feel like I can make a difference.”

“Diana is so deserving of this recognition,” SHRS president Tara Crowley said. “She has been involved in the human resource community in so many ways. She is welcoming to all members, promoting involvement from local to national levels. Diana is a true HR ambassador.”
